The Ambassadors have enjoyed a long history as part of one of the most vibrant Chambers of Commerce. As Chamber membership has grown, the Ambassadors have played an ever more important role in welcoming new and existing members, hosting and emceeing a variety of events and providing a connection between members and the organization.
In 2009 the Ambassadors formalized the application process so members who wanted to become Ambassadors had a clear understanding of their roles and the time commitment required.
Ambassadors also have the option of joining the Ambassador Steering Committee. This group works with the Event Coordinator by assisting with the planning of events, providing Emcees and hosts to meet and greet our members. More information about the Steering Committee is available in the Steering Committee Handbook.
The benefits of being an Ambassador are numerous. Wearing your red badge gives you an opportunity to chat, network and get to know other member businesses. You can take advantage of having a reserved seat at Ambassador events which enables you to encourage conversation among the members at your table.
Get to know fellow members, connect and share! You’ll develop valuable relationships with other business owners. And you’ll have a lot of fun along the way!
