"I am pleased that we are now able to re-launch the direct service to Kelowna after a 4 month delay. We look forward to serving the communities of Central Alberta and Okanagan Valley well into the future," says Gordon Bush, General Manager, Northwestern Air Lease.
As demand grows, the airline plans to add more frequency and destinations to the schedule, to further serve the communities of the both regions.
"We congratulate Northwestern Air for seizing this great opportunity to provide air service to the people that live in our great area," says RJ Steenstra, Red Deer Airport’s CEO. "This service gives everyone a convenient and hassle-free flying choice right in their own back yard. With no charge parking at the terminal and fast check-in customers will be on their plane and in Kelowna quickly and efficiently," Steenstra added.
The service is another example of Red Deer Airport’s commitment to the people of Central Alberta and the stewardship of the Airport. The service will operate out of the Airport terminal building at both Red Deer Airport and Kelowna Airport. To book a flight with Northwestern Air call free
