This committee will address labour trends, barriers to labour attraction and the development of skilled labour, immigration, aboriginal issues, education, health, energy and all other sectors of industry.
This committee will meet on a monthly basis, on the first Thursday of the month, and follow a process that begins with identifying gaps in legislation, emerging issues and hot buttons affecting business. Committees will engage in discussions with experts, conduct research and develop consensus around policy recommendations. They will write policy and submit it to the Chamber Board of Directors for approval.
The first meeting of this committee is set for Thursday, September 8th at 2pm, in the JA Board Room, at the Chamber. Terms of Reference and Meeting Agenda will be sent to committee members prior to this date.
