Creedon, TimPosition: Executive DirectorE-mail: Bio: Tim Creedon arrived in Canada with his family in 2001, and launched Creedon and Associates, a management consulting business that consolidated three decades of management success in Britain. Operating in Central Alberta, Tim knew the networking and business development opportunities the Red Deer Chamber of Commerce offered would be invaluable. After becoming a member, he immersed himself in the organization as an Ambassador. In 2005, as Chair of the Ambassador Steering Committee, he was appointed to the Board of Directors, a role he continued after being elected to the Board in 2006. Business pursuits then took Tim out of Central Alberta, but not for long. He welcomed the opportunity to return in 2008 as the Chamber’s Executive Director, and to assist the Board in achieving their vision of an organization dedicated to member success. |

More, RickPosition: Manager - Membership & Community RelationsE-mail: Bio: Rick was born and raised in Red Deer and is married with 4 children. He enjoyed long term employment with Canada Safeway (20 years) and before coming to the Chamber owned and operated businesses for 8 years. Entrepreneurship has been a great asset in dealing with business people who are members of the Red Deer Chamber of Commerce under his tenure as membership manager. Rick is also a member of the Downtown Rotary Club since 1989. Board postiotions include Central Alberta Women's OutReach, CNIB advisory Committee and Downtown Rotary club. He was also a director in the successful Scott Tournament of Hearts in 2004 and bid committee member for the 2012 Scotties Tournament of Hearts to be held at the Westerner in Red Deer. |

Schaber, CarlaPosition: Accounting ManagerE-mail: Bio: A love for the outdoors and a consuming interest in horses makes Central Alberta the perfect home for Carla Schaber. She commutes daily from her Spruceview ranch, where she and her family raise, buy and sell quarter horses. After graduating from the U of A with a B.Sc. in Agriculture, Carla studied accounting, developing the business side of her ag interests. Her education and business management experience lead her to her current position at the Chamber of Commerce. Spending her weeks keeping the accounts in balance, she reserves her evenings and weekends for her three growing children and the exhilaration of barrel racing and gymkhana. |

Klooster, DaniellePosition: Manager - Policy, Advocacy and CommunicationsE-mail: Bio: Hailing originally from Edmonton, Danielle considers herself a true Alberta girl, having lived in several Alberta communities. She came to Red Deer in 1997 and settled in Penhold in 2001. She is married and has three grown children, one teenage step-daughter and two grandchildren. Danielle’s experience in community development, board governance, business, and community drew her to the Chamber position in the fall of 2008. She also serves as a Councilor in the Town of Penhold, sits on the board of the Central Alberta Women’s Outreach Society and is an organizer in the area’s “Women in Politics” initiative. Running, hiking, cycling, family and music fill Danielle’s leisure hours. |

Knudson, LindseyPosition: Events CoordinatorE-mail: Bio: Lindsey is a hometown girl, born and raised in Red Deer. After graduating from Lindsay Thurber Comprehensive High School in 2002, Lindsey went on to Red Deer College and received her Business Administration Diploma in Marketing. She pursued and received her Bachelor of Management Degree in Marketing at the University of Lethbridge. Lindsey got involved in community events by participating in organizing the 2008 Santa Claus parade, and hopes to have opportunity to become more involved in local events and initiatives. Lindsey has been with the Red Deer Chamber of Commerce since September of 2008. Lindsey, her husband Chad and their cat Scarlet are happy to be back living and working in Red Deer; Lindsey enjoys running, biking and graphic design in her leisure time. |

Gilgan, RobertPosition: Specialist, Promotions & ProjectsE-mail: Bio: Since arriving in Central Alberta in 1973, Rob has enjoyed a wide range of experience as an entrepreneur, journalist and publisher. He brings those skills to the position of Specialist, Promotions and Projects, where he’ll assist the Chamber team with its web presence, member communications and print projects. Rob has lived in several Central Alberta communities and has always enjoyed a high level of community involvement. Highlights include several years as director for Red Deer Press; President, Rimbey Junior B Hockey Society; member, Ponoka Lions Club; member, Rimbey Multistakeholder Group; director, Blindman Youth Action Society. He currently sits on the Culture Link board and the executive of the Davenport Place Community Association. His spare time is dedicated to lifelong learning, emerging technologies, playing hockey, photography, writing fiction and enjoying all facets of culture. He and his partner, Desiree, have four adult children between them and one grand son. |

Cronin, LornaPosition: Executive AssistantE-mail: Bio: Lorna is a long-time resident of Central Alberta. She assists the public, non-member businesses, members businesses and chamber volunteers with direction on Chamber information and services, and general inquiries on Red Deer and area. Lorna also provides administrative support to the Chamber Executive Director, the Board of Directors and the staff. She is the contact person for renting the Chamber boardroom, Chamber document certification (ie. Certificates of Origin) and more. Lorna looks forward to all of your calls and inquiries. |

Hanlan, ShelleyPosition: General AssistantE-mail: Bio: Born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Shelley came to Central Alberta in the 80’s to complete her Hospitality & Tourism Diploma at Red Deer College. Since that time she has developed extensive experience in business administration and management. Shelley joined the Chamber staff in the fall of 2008 and enjoys putting her experience to good use here in her part-time capacity. Shelley enjoys cooking, as well staying active through swimming and running. |

Kennedy, PatPosition: Tradeshow ManagerE-mail: Bio: Patrick has maintained a keen and active interest in Red Deer and the Red Deer Chamber of Commerce since 1981. Over the years, Patrick has worked with the Red Deer Chamber on many events including the World of Women show www.worldofwomenshow.com and other business and consumer related events. Principals of Kennedy Communication Services Ltd., Patrick and his wife and partner Sherall Kennedy enjoy a close and productive working relationship with Chamber management and staff. Specializing in staging events at Westerner Park, Pat and Sherall also enjoy a close working relationship with management and staff there. Originally developed as an agricultural marketing and promotional service, the company has grown and diversified to be involved with a wide range of agricultural and non-ag projects. Patrick maintains an office in the Red Deer Chamber facility and can be contacted there. |
