With school back in, the leaves changing and the crisp mornings, it can only mean one thing – summer is gone and September is here. Every September the Chamber officially kick offs events for the year and this year we have a packed schedule with new events to help grow your business.
 
Staying connected and informed are two areas of focus for our events. Our most popular event, Business After Hours is all about networking – and the best part? You can attend for free! We also open this event to non-members so they can come and check it out, learn about the Chamber and meet our members. Attending this event is a must do. After all, building a strong business network is vital to your business growth!
 
We strive to keep our membership and community informed by featuring relevant and educational speakers, as well as hosting interactive workshops to help develop your business and personal skills. New for the 2017-2018 event season, we have partnered with the Red Deer Construction Association to bring you “Building Business Breakfasts”. Building Business Breakfasts focus on investing in YOU on an ongoing basis through a variety of business and marketing workshops.

With the municipal election on October 16^th we want our members to be informed and vote!  Our election forum for all mayoral and councilor candidates on October 2^nd from 6:00-8:00pm at the Harvest Centre (Westerner Park) will be your chance to hear from all these candidates so come October 16^th you can make your informed vote.
